About Our Company

We are a real estate capital advisory group which helps to provide creative capital in all parts of the capital stack in commercial and multifamily real estate, including preferred equity, JV equity, mezzanine debt, bridge debt, permanent debt, and construction debt. We have acted as an advisor to public and private companies since 1992 in connection with all property types including multifamily, hospitality, industrial, retail, student housing, office, self-storage, adaptive reuse (including those with historic tax credit components), and all types of healthcare facilities.

Our typical loan size averages $35 million, although we have assisted in obtaining funding for loans or investments in excess of $5,000,000. We celebrated the closing of a $447,500,000 loan facility in January of 2024, secured by 19 multifamily properties in 3 states in January of 2024, so we look at a wide range of opportunities and we enjoy complex and challenging deals, perhaps the result of our founder growing up as the 6th child in a family with 7 children. Our expertise is in evaluating all kinds of problems and then creating solutions to issues which seem to be insurmountable.

We have offices in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. We are proud to say that our first customer back in 1992 is still a customer of our company today.
